시놉시스

다양한 유형의 장애인들이 자신의 성적 경험들과 고민, 이성과 사랑에 대한 다양한 생각들을 솔직하게 털어 놓는다. 그들 중 충남 예산에 살고 있는 48세의 최동수씨는 중증뇌성마비 장애인으로 평생의 송원이 ‘총각딱지 한 번 떼보는 것’이라고 한다. 몇 년 전 청량리 성매매업소에서 한 번 시도했다가 거절당했다. 성매매금지법이 시행되고 있는 상황에서 그는 두 번째 시도를 결심한다.

A few years ago he was rejected by a prostitute in Cheong-ryang-ree, a famous brothel area in downtown Seoul.  

기획의도

인간이 가지고 있는 다양한 욕구의 실현은 그 욕구를 인정할 때만이 가능해진다. 그간 제3의 성, 거의 무성으로 치부되어 온 장애인은 이 사회에서 그들의 기본적 욕구실현을 위한 동등한 기회조차 갖지 못했다. 핑크팰리스는 장애인이 생각하는 성과 사랑, 그들의 다양한 성적경험들과 욕구를 솔직하게 표현함으로써 그들과 내가 가진 욕구가 전혀 다르지 않음을 보여주고자 한다.

Realization of the human-being's various desires can be possible only when they are admitted in society.  Until now people with disability have been disregarded as a third sex or as a sexlessness and they have never been granted equally a chance to satisfy their basic instincts. Pink Palace will expose what the disabled people think of sex and love, their experiences and desires. And eventually the desires of the disabled people will be proved and understood as same as ours.
