시놉시스

지체, 시각, 농아, 정신지체 등 각 장애유형별로 19명의 여성장애인들이 임신, 출산, 육아의 과정에서 경험하는 삶의 이야기

19 disabled women, who are crippled, blind, deaf and dumb or have intellectual disability talk about their lives and experience in preg-nancy, childbirth, upbringing of baby.

기획의도

여성장애인은 여성과 장애라는 중첩된 차별 속에 이 땅에서 가장 소수자로 살고 있다. 여성장애인이 경험하는 삶의 무게는 아이를 낳고 양육하는 과정에서도 여실히 들어난다. 여성장애인들이 직접 풀어내는 임신, 출산, 육아에 관한 생생한 이야기를 통해 문제에 접근해보고, 여성장애인 모성권이 당연한 권리이며 우리사회가 함께 책임져야 할 문제임을 함께 느끼고자 한다. 

Disabled women are one of the most minority group of people, discriminated more because they are not only women but also disabled. The burden of life they have on their shoulder can be obviously seen in the process of childbirth and upbringing.

As listening to what disabled women talk about their pregnancy, childbirth and upbringing vividly, we have a chance to look into the problem and understand that disabled women's rights of motherhood is a natural right and the whole society should shoulder the responsibility for that.
